We are delighted to launch our on-site florist and lifestyle shop, The Potting Shed, from Spring 2023. It is now easy to pop in and pick up a bouquet, add a gift voucher, gift card, vase or other treat.
We began renovating the original dairy on the farm in 2020 and the newer red-brick half is now our luxury shower block and toilets. The stone-built section is the oldest part of the farm, dating back around 300 years and we have preserved as much of its agricultural feel as possible, including an unplastered wall in the shop’s interior to reveal its history. We have extended the underfloor heating from the air source heat pump, water capture from the roof irrigates the polytunnel, and a new roof with velux floods the space with light.
We stock everything from picnic blankets for romantic moments, craft kits for creatives, pots, and twine for plant lovers, Welsh Lavender body care, locally foraged herbal teas, enamel tableware and kitchenalia for retro baking, inspiring books for sofa surfers, gorgeous scented candles, useful camping supplies, luxury interior ideas, and unusual vintage finds for those ‘hard to buy for’ gifts … plus much more for every pocket!
The Just a Card campaign is a grassroots campaign on a mission to encourage people to support, value, and buy from artists, makers, independent shops, and small businesses. Every sale, even just a card, is vital to their prosperity and survival. We are passionate about promoting and supporting local artists and offering a venue for those without a retail outlet to sell.
We have worked in collaboration with Mitchel Dean Soap to produce our own Gardner’s Soap, with exfoliating poppy seeds, relaxing lavender, and healing rosemary.
Opening hours (March to December):
- Weds to Friday 9-3.30 pm.
- Saturdays 10-12 pm
- Once a month late night opening on a Thurs 9-9 pm.
- We are open other times by appointment.
